How every fundi gets verified
No one appears in the directory until they pass all four checks.
1. Identity check
We confirm each fundi's real name and phone number. No anonymous listings, ever.
2. Trade review
We check their stated trade, years of experience, and rate card for consistency before approval.
3. Estate confirmation
Fundis only list in estates they genuinely serve — currently Langata, Madaraka and Nairobi West.
4. Review watch
Neighbour reviews are monitored. Low ratings or complaints trigger re-verification or removal.
Stay safe when booking
- Meet before you pay. Never send full payment before the work is done — M-Pesa after completion is the norm.
- Agree the price up front. Confirm the total cost on WhatsApp or in person before work starts.
- Check the badge. Only book fundis with the Verified badge on their profile.
- Read recent reviews. Neighbours' reviews are your best quality signal.
- Keep it on record. Book through the platform so you have a booking reference.
